Job summary

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) invites applications for a senior economist role in the Labour Market and Research Division within the Economic Policy Group. You will conduct policy-oriented research on macroeconomic and financial issues relevant to Singapore, applying rigorous theoretical and empirical methods and AI-enabled analytics.

You will collaborate with teams, brief policymakers on research findings, and contribute to public policy discussions.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Economics required.
• Strong macroeconomics background and knowledge of Singapore’s policy context.
• Substantial experience with quantitative economic/financial analysis and independent research.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct policy-oriented research on macroeconomic and financial issues relevant to Singapore.
