Job summary

DayOne is seeking an accomplished Commissioning Manager to lead and oversee commissioning across complex data center construction projects. You will drive strategy, governance, and end-to-end execution to ensure delivery meets performance and uptime targets.

The role requires deep technical expertise, leadership across cross-functional teams, and a strong focus on quality, risk management, and client satisfaction as DayOne expands globally.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in commissioning/data center delivery.
• 5+ years in a leadership or multi-project management role.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale commissioning efforts for hyperscale or enterprise data centers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning strategy and execution for multiple concurrent or large-scale data center projects.
• Oversee commissioning teams, third-party agents, OEMs, and contractors during commissioning lifecycle.
• Interface with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders at senior levels, ensuring expectations are aligned and met.
• Lead risk reviews and ensure mitigation plans are in place for high-impact systems or stages.
