Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku is seeking a senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analytics Lead to own how we read the loan portfolio across vintages, concentrations, and early warning trends. You will report to the Regional Head of Credit Risk and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for the risk team and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities include analyzing NPL and delinquency trends, recovery performance, portfolio concentration, ECL provisioning, and maintaining dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in statistics/finance/economics/engineering/analytics.
• 6–8 years of experience in credit risk analytics.
• Familiar with ASEAN regulatory/data landscape.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and vintage/cohort analyses.
• Strong SQL; Python a plus.
• Experience using AI-assisted analysis/tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• NPL and delinquency trend analysis to track credit quality.
• Recovery and write-off performance tracking.
• Portfolio concentration analysis by borrower/industry/product/country.
• ECCL/provisioning coverage analysis and explain drivers.
• Monthly monitoring against Risk Appetite Statement thresholds with root-cause analysis.
• Apply trend checks to flag unusual movements.
• Maintain data accuracy across source systems and country teams.
• Explain the 'why' behind portfolio movements, not just the numbers.
• Collaborate with country teams, data science, and collections.
