Job summary

Liebherr Indonesia is seeking an experienced service engineer to repair and service Liebherr Maritime, Port and Construction Cranes in Balikpapan. You will diagnose, overhaul and test heavy crane systems, using OEM parts and Liebherr service software.

On-site work requires travel, rigorous safety adherence, and timely reporting. The role demands a technical apprenticeship in electrical/electronic/mechanical/hydraulic areas, crane maintenance experience, and strong communication skills to liaise

Qualifications

• Completion of a technical apprenticeship covering electric/electronic/mechanical/hydraulic training.
• Experience with cranes or similar machines in maintenance.
• Able to diagnose faults and perform repair work on complex machinery.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work on-site.
• Willingness to travel on short notice and work overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair or overhaul port equipment and cranes.
• Test and modify electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Operate test equipment and troubleshoot faults.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and toolcare on site.
• Prepare reports and complete customer documentation.
