Job summary

PT Bajra Mandalasakti is looking for a Control System Engineer to design, implement and maintain complex control systems for client operations. The role is based at the Jakarta head office with travel to project sites as needed.

You will develop PLCs, HMIs and SCADA, configure hardware/software, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with electrical and instrument engineers to deliver integrated systems. Strong communication and team skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in control system design, programming, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, and industrial network protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
• Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and Rockwell FactoryTalk is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Configure and test control system hardware and software for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues and malfunctions.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Instrument design engineers for integrated designs.
• Document control system designs, configurations, and maintenance procedures.
• Provide training and support to users of the control systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest control system technologies and best practices.
