Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to perform hematology, chemistry, serology, urinalysis, feces, and body fluid testing per established procedures. You will input data, release results timely, and prioritize critical reports to medical staff.

The role requires a D4 in Medical Laboratory Technology, a valid SIP license and STR, with at least 3 years across test groups and proven phlebotomy skills. Experience in daily QC and mid-level management is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: D4 in Medical Laboratory Technology (ATLM).
• Possess a valid Practice License (SIP) and Registration Certificate (STR).
• Proficient in phlebotomy and skilled in operating laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, urinalysis).
• Have a proven track record in sampling with a low sampling failure rate.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working across all laboratory test groups.
• Experienced in performing daily quality control (QC).

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory examinations in hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces, and body fluids per procedures and standards.
• Input data into the system and release laboratory test results to ensure complete and timely availability of data.
• Prioritize reporting of critical results (CITO, CCU) to doctors or nurses.
• Record usage and request of equipment and reagents; carry out preventive maintenance.
• Collect required data and prepare reports related to operational activities for supervisors.
• Implement quality and safety procedures and participate in training, data collection, and reporting.
