Job summary

Pt Hyosung Jakarta is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer with a focus on Process Development to join our Bogor, West Java team. You will lead design and scale-up of novel chemical processes from concept through pilot plant to full-scale implementation.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in chemical process development, strong expertise in reaction engineering, separation processes, and process control, and hands-on experience with process modeling tools.

Qualifications

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
8+ years of experience in chemical process development and scale-up.
Proven track record in leading complex engineering projects.
Expertise in reaction engineering, separation processes, and process control.
Excellent analytical skills and experience with process modeling tools.

Responsibilities

Lead development and scale-up of new chemical processes from laboratory to commercial scale.
Design and execute pilot plant trials to validate process parameters.
Conduct techno-economic evaluations for new process concepts.
Develop detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
Provide technical support for the transfer of technology to manufacturing sites.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical expertise.
