Job summary

EVDEkimi Real Estates is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure backend systems, APIs, and microservices, with a focus on AI-powered features and automation.

You will work across the full software lifecycle, collaborate with AI engineers and product teams, and lead architectural decisions to ensure performance, reliability, and secure integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Go, Java, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience building production systems involving AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, AI Agents, or Generative AI.
• Experience integrating platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other LLM/AI APIs.
• Familiarity with RAG architecture, vector databases, embeddings, prompt orchestration, and AI agent workflows.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, asynchronous processing, authentication, and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices.
• Build and integrate AI-powered features using LLMs, AI agents, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and external AI APIs.
• Develop backend architecture to support AI-driven applications and automation workflows.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle from architecture to production monitoring.
• Collaborate on full-stack development when needed, including backend-frontend integration.
• Design and optimize RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and third-party integrations.
• Manage relational and NoSQL databases ensuring performance and security.
• Implement cloud infra, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, logging, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and improve system reliability and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architecture decisions, and mentoring.
