Job summary

Cv.Resvila in Denpasar, Bali is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues using advanced tools. You will troubleshoot a wide range of systems, interpret data and communicate results to service advisors and customers.

The role requires proficiency with OBD-II, ECUs, CAN bus and wiring diagrams, with a focus on quality and continuous learning in a dynamic service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Diagnostic Technician.
• Expertise with OBD-II scanners, oscilloscopes, multimeters and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of ECUs and CAN bus systems.
• Ability to read complex wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in diagnosing across multiple vehicle makes/models.
• Clear communication of findings to service advisors and customers.
• Certifications from recognized automotive institutions are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth diagnostics on engine, transmission, brakes, steering and electrical systems.
• Use diagnostic software/hardware to locate faults and guide repairs.
• Interpret data and service bulletins to direct repairs.
• Communicate findings and recommended solutions to advisors and customers.
• Conduct pre- and post-repair inspections and test drives.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, findings and repairs.
• Stay updated with new vehicle technologies and diagnostics.
• Ensure work is done to high standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate with the service team for efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.
• Manage and calibrate diagnostic tools and equipment.
