Job summary

Macquarie Group in Indonesia is seeking an engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience in database platforms including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, and Aurora. You will contribute to building and supporting automated solutions using Python, Ansible, and PowerShell to maintain reliable production environments.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years' experience in an engineering role with exposure to database platforms including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, and Aurora production environments.
• Strong programming and automation skills using Python, Ansible, and PowerShell, with the ability to troubleshoot and support complex automation solutions.
• Solid understanding of database concepts, T-SQL, cloud services, and automation frameworks leveraging AWS technologies.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and incident management practices to maintain platform reliability and performance.
• Proficiency in version control and software delivery practices, including GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience managing change, incident, and problem management processes; relevant database or cloud certifications are advantageous.
