Job summary

British Council in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Arts Manager to lead country activities under the Art in Action and Creative Growth programmes. You will manage partnerships, drive delivery, and ensure high-quality outcomes for arts and creative industries.

Reporting to the Head of Arts and the Country Director, you will build strong stakeholder relationships, contribute to strategic planning, and promote inclusion, diversity and excellence across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• First degree in a relevant subject (Arts or Cultural Management)
• Strong understanding of the arts and creative economy in Indonesia
• Experience in managing national arts/creative industry projects
• Active network of diverse arts sector contacts
• Ability to lead governance structures and partnerships

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage country Arts portfolio in line with global programmes
• Build and maintain relationships with sector partners, stakeholders and funders
• Oversee project design, delivery, finances, procurement and due diligence
• Ensure quality, impact and governance of arts programmes
• Promote inclusion and anti-racism in programmes and culture
