Job summary

LEGAL ASIA PARTNERS seeks an experienced Professional Architect to join our technical planning, inspection, and supervision team in Indonesia. You will ensure designs are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and compliant with structural standards, safety parameters, and government regulations for building certificates.

You will lead design reviews, conduct technical inspections, and prepare reports to support occupancy/performance certificates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years in architectural design or technical building inspection.
• Active STRA (Architect Registration Certificate) issued by the Indonesian Board of Architects (DAI).
• Active SKK (Work Competency Certificate) as a Building Structural Suitability Inspection Expert registered with LPJK/BNSP.
• Strong understanding of building regulations, Building Approval (PBG), and Certificate of Functionality / Occupancy (SLF) processes.
• Proficient in industry software: AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, and relevant analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and evaluate architectural designs in accordance with building reliability standards.
• Conduct technical inspections on the functional suitability of buildings (covering safety, health, comfort, and accessibility aspects).
• Prepare technical inspection reports on structural and architectural suitability to support Certificate of Occupancy / Functionality applications.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams (Civil, MEP) and relevant government agencies for technical audits and permits.
• Ensure all design and audit processes strictly adhere to applicable codes, standards, guidelines, and criteria.
