Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking an experienced Credit Accounting Assistant Manager for Accounts Receivable to oversee billing, collections, and revenue recognition processes.

The role drives cash collection, AR reporting, and compliance with VAT/tax rules while strengthening internal controls across AR and revenue functions. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in accounting or AR, with supervisory experience, and a strong grasp of ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Accounting or AR, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong understanding of AR, collections, revenue recognition, and credit management.
• Deep knowledge of local tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full AR lifecycle from billing to settlement, ensuring invoice accuracy and proper credit limit management.
• Lead collection strategies to optimize cash inflow and DSO performance.
• Ensure revenue is recognized accurately and in compliance with policies.
• Prepare and analyze AR aging, collection performance, and revenue reports.
• Assess doubtful accounts and provisions, and oversee write-offs.
• Oversee resolution of billing disputes with Sales, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure VAT/tax compliance related to AR transactions and coordinate with Tax team.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements.
