Job summary

PT Talentvis Consulting Indonesia is seeking a Senior Application Engineer for Poultry Processing. You will understand client processes, design suitable equipment, and develop layouts and drawings to meet application requirements.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience in poultry processing or equipment manufacturing, with strong competencies in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks. Travel to customer sites is expected as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Food Processing/Production Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in poultry processing or equipment manufacturing.
• Experience with poultry processing operations and equipment layouts is essential.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer processes, capacities, products, and application requirements.
• Develop process and equipment solutions for poultry processing applications.
• Prepare process flows, layouts, and 2D drawings (AutoCAD).
• Select equipment and define specifications; perform basic engineering calculations.
• Prepare proposals, scope of supply, and costing; conduct site visits.
• Coordinate with Sales, Design, Engineering, Production and Project teams.
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, cleanability, operator safety, and maintenance access.

Senior Application Engineer for Poultry Processing

Position: Application Engineer – Poultry Processing

Experience: 3-8 Years

Function: Application Engineering

Industry: Poultry Processing / Food Processing Equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer processes, capacities, products, and application requirements.
• Develop suitable process and equipment solutions for poultry processing applications.
• Prepare process flows, conceptual layouts, equipment layouts, and 2D AutoCAD drawings.
• Select suitable equipment and define key technical specifications.
• Perform basic engineering calculations for capacity, product flow, equipment sizing, line speeds, etc.
• Prepare technical proposals, scope of supply, specifications, and costing.
• Conduct customer/site visits for application study, measurements, and technical discussions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Design, Engineering, Production, and Project teams.
• Ensure solutions consider hygiene, food safety, cleanability, operator safety, and maintenance accessibility.
• Support the Sales team during technical discussions and order finalization.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Food Processing/Production Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with a poultry processing plant and/or poultry processing machinery manufacturer is essential.
• Good understanding of poultry processing operations such as slaughtering, evisceration, chilling, cut-up, deboning, further processing, conveying, weighing, and packing.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D-Solidworks and plant/equipment layouts.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and develop the right equipment and process solution.
• Experience in technical proposals, equipment specifications, and pricing.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites
