Macquarie Group is seeking an Analyst/Senior Analyst in Risk Advisory for Banking and Financial Services. The role focuses on delivering operational risk advice, leading risk initiatives, and overseeing risk control self-assessments, governance projects, and risk approval processes across multiple product lines.

The ideal candidate will partner with stakeholders at all levels, drive risk management, and uplift controls and documentation to strengthen the risk framework within the organization.

Qualifications

• Provide Operational Risk advice and drive risk initiatives.
• Lead risk projects and act as risk lead on initiatives such as CPS230 and Data Under Governance.
• Perform general Risk and Control Management including creating and documenting new controls and assessing risk ratings.

As an Associate Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with our ecosystem to provide Operational Risk advice and drive initiatives such as Risk Control Self-Assessments, acting as risk lead on projects (e.g. Data Under Governance, CPS230) and the risk approval process.

In addition, you will be responsible for general Risk and Control Management including uplifts on new control creation and documentation, assessing risk ratings, advising on risk acceptances and reviewing and monitoring risk performance. You will be working closely with stakeholders of all levels, across various teams and product lines in Banking and Financial Services.
