Job summary

Hangry is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to support accurate financial reporting and day-to-day accounting operations in Indonesia. You will handle key activities, coordinate with Finance teams, and help maintain strong financial controls and compliance across the business.

You will work on month-end and year-end closings, ensure correct journal entries, and stay updated on accounting standards while collaborating with AR, AP, Tax, and other teams to drive accurate financials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of PSAK, Indonesian tax regulations.
• Familiar with journal entries, account reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with ERP or accounting systems is preferred.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, especially across teams.
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate, complete financial records.
• Review journal entries and supporting documents for proper classification and accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliation and data validation.
• Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial reports per standards.
• Coordinate with AR, AP, Cost Control, Tax, and other teams to verify transactions.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Ensure activities comply with PSAK, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Support audits by preparing schedules and documents.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and improve processes and controls.
• Support other accounting-related projects and initiatives.
