Job summary

Mensa Group, a diversified Indonesian company with about 6500 employees, seeks an Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations, ensure PSAK/SAK compliance, and drive accurate financial reporting across manufacturing and support functions.

You will supervise the GL, cost accounting, and inventory processes, coordinate with Production, PPIC, Warehouse, and Finance, and partner with external auditors to ensure robust controls and timely closes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of PSAK/SAK and financial reporting.
• Hands-on with Oracle ERP and monthly closings.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/manufacturing sectors preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop an accounting team across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
• Oversee monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and supporting financial reports.
• Monitor General Ledger (GL), journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK/SAK) and company policies.
• Oversee and review Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) calculations for manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and analyze production costs, inventory valuation, and cost variances.
• Ensure accurate accounting records for raw materials, packaging materials, work in process, and finished goods.
• Verify stock opname results and reconcile physical inventory with accounting records.
• Coordinate with Production, PPIC, Warehouse, and related departments to ensure accurate inventory and cost reporting.
• Ensure proper implementation of accounting procedures and internal financial controls.
• Review account reconciliations and investigate material discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and follow up on accounting-related findings.
• Support tax compliance through accurate accounting records and reconciliation with the Tax function.
• Supervise accounting transactions and reporting through Oracle ERP.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and proper accounting processes within the system.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, reporting efficiency, and data reliability.
• Coordinate with IT and related departments to resolve accounting system issues.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounting team.
• Monitor team performance, work quality, and reporting deadlines.
• Coordinate with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial, and other departments.
• Provide financial information and accounting analysis to support management decisions.
