Job summary

PT. Shinhan Indo Finance is seeking an experienced Accounting Senior Staff to join our Accounting team at Head Office East Jakarta.

This full-time role oversees accounting operations, ensures accuracy of financial records, and provides strategic support to management. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, supervising staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance while coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Multifinance or Financial Services industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent understanding of accounting controls, internal audit procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is strongly preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification or certification is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Willing to be placed at Head Office PT SIF Jakarta, Wisma Indomobil, East Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and ensure accuracy of financial statements and accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, analysis and schedules for management and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and maintain proper documentation and filing systems for audit trails and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure quality work outputs
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements, tax regulations and internal accounting policies.
• Liaise with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting-related issues.
