Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an environment artist to create stylized and realistic 3D environments for AAA game projects. You will translate concept art into high-quality environment models, textures, and materials across multiple art styles.

The role requires strong artistic foundations, 3+ years in environment art, and proficiency with Unity3D. Collaboration and proactive problem-solving are essential to maintain workflow quality and pipeline integration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in environment art production.
• Proficient with PBR and stylized rendering; hand-painted workflow a plus.
• Familiar with Unity3D; able to work across production pipeline.
• Excellent artistic foundations and ability to adapt across styles.
• Good communication and problem-solving under pressure; AAA game experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• 1.Create stylized, Western cartoon, and Western realistic 3D environments;
• 2.Based on game settings, interpret concept art intent to create 3D environment models, including prop assets, texture painting, and material creation, etc.;
• 3.Understand the game's art style and follow up on quality, coordinating across the entire pipeline to achieve the final art effects of the product;
• 4.Familiar with the relevant functions of the Unity3D (U3D) engine.

Job Requirements:

• 1.Possess an excellent artistic foundation and aesthetic ability, mastering environment production across different art styles;
• 2.3+ years of experience in environment art production;
• 3.Familiar with PBR and stylized/3D-to-2D (NPR) rendering workflows; proficiency in hand-painted workflows is a plus; understand the application of AI tools in the production process;
• 4.Good communication skills, strong ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving; experience in AAA game production is preferred.
