Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a seasoned Finance professional to be the key business partner for the AKA region, leading financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the segment. You will partner with GMs and leadership to enable informed decision making, drive budgeting strategies, and monitor profitability across multiple countries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or IT with at least 10 years of financial work experience.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects or process improvements within operations/finance.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience with financial systems/applications (Oracle, SAP, BI tools) and basic system infrastructure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with confidence and influence across levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across regions and functions.
  • Demonstrated integrity in decisions, communications, and actions.

Responsibilities

  • Own standard monthly financial reporting, tracking orders, sales, backlog, costs, margins, and inventory.
  • Partner with AKA Segment GMs and leadership to prepare monthly operating reviews with CEO/CFO and global segments.
  • Monitor pricing trends by product and country to drive profitability and align with market dynamics.
  • Lead budget/strategy process for AKA Equipment Segments with cross-country coordination.
  • Own profitability monitoring and trend analysis with key drivers (Price, Mix, Productivity, FX).
  • Standardize and automate financial dashboards across countries for centralized reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support management commentary and driver analysis.
  • Translate financial information and liaise with regional commercial and operating teams to influence decisions.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Own the standard monthly financial reporting that is necessary to measure the financial results and guide future business decisions. This includes monthly and quarterly financial packages that track trends and performance of orders, sales, backlog, costs, margins, inventory, and other critical metrics.
  • Partner directly with AKA Segment GMs and leadership team to prepare monthly operating reviews with AKA CEO/CFO as well as global segment reviews.
  • Monitor and analyse pricing trend at product and country level to understand key drivers and enhance profitability and support implementation of strategy that aligns with market dynamics in each country with AKA and Segment leadership team as well as country finance and commercial team.
  • Lead budget/strategy process for AKA Equipment Segments, which includes coordinating with countries in AKA and International region on growth targets and formulate investment/capital allocation decision making.
  • Own profitability monitoring and trend analysis with key drivers (e.g. Price, Mix, Productivity, Unusuals, FX, etc.)
  • Lead standardization and automation of financial dashboard/reporting across different countries in AKA for consistent and centralized reporting capability that drive greater visibility.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis as required to support commentary/key driver analysis and in response to queries from the management team.
  • Communicate financial information, translate/educate financial concepts and impacts, facilitate interactions with region commercial and operating teams to influence decisions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or IT and minimum of 10 years of financial work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews
  • Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas
  • Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
  • Digital capabilities: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, BI tools), basic understanding on system infrastructure & interfaces
  • Strong interpersonal skill: Confidence/Assertiveness and strong influencing skills
  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
