Job summary

JGC Indonesia seeks an Experienced Project Security Specialist to lead and manage security programs across EPC project sites, including construction camps, offices, logistics operations, and marine facilities, ensuring compliance with VPSHR and ISPS Code.

The role collaborates with project management, HSE, contractors, and authorities to safeguard personnel, assets, and information through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Security Management experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining, or Critical Infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Security Risk Assessment (SRA) and Security Management Plan (SMP) development and implementation.
• ISPS Code implementation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project-wide security programs across construction sites, camps, offices, logistics, and marine facilities.
• Oversee security risk management and ensure compliance with VPSHR, IFC PS4 and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with government authorities, security agencies, and stakeholders to safeguard personnel, assets, information and continuity throughout the project lifecycle.

Job description

Experienced Project Security Specialist to lead and manage project-wide security programs for a major EPC project. The successful candidate will oversee security risk management across construction sites, camps, offices, logistics operations, and marine facilities, ensuring compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, VPSHR, IFC PS4, and applicable security regulations.Working closely with project management, HSE teams, security contractors, government authorities, and key stakeholders, this role will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, assets, infrastructure, information, and operational continuity throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualification

• Minimum 10 years of Security Management experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining, or Critical Infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in:
  • PTK-049 implementation
  • Security Risk Assessment (SRA)
  • Security Management Plan (SMP) development and implementation
  • Emergency Response and Crisis Management
  • Security Incident Investigation
  • ISPS Code implementation and compliance
  • IOGP Report 555 Security Risk Assessment
  • Stakeholder, Government, and Security Force coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASIS CPP or PSP Certification
• VPSHR (Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights) Training
• Crisis Management and/or Incident Command System (ICS) Training
• Experience working on LNG, Offshore, Marine, Port, or Major Infrastructure projects

Key Attributes:

  Fluent in english both oral and writen

Candidates with experience in large-scale EPC, LNG, offshore, or critical infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
