Job summary

Pure Data Centres Group is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead the security team across multiple estates. You will oversee the deployment, administration of security policies, and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

You will manage access control systems, coordinate with the control room, ensure incident reporting, and supervise vendor performance while maintaining service excellence for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Security team and coordinate deployment, administration, and operation of security measures.
• Ensure Security Department policies, procedures, and instructions are fully complied with by security personnel.
• Provide reports and data related to Security Department activities and incidents.
• Monitor and apply the Security Division quality assurance programme to ensure it is effectively executed.
• Oversee all access control systems and coordinate with the control room.
• Ensure staffing is adequate per shift to meet professional obligations and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure all incidents are reported according to SOPs.
• Apply and monitor the Security Division’s strategy to meet SOPs and orders.
• Take immediate operational responsibility for significant incidents or events, including fire alarms.
• Ensure smooth flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic across the estate with appropriate measures.
• Build strong customer relationships and promote a culture of Service Excellence across teams.
• Hold regular meetings with customers across sites and enforce security processes.
• Provide customer support and clear communication as required.
• Manage internal resources and vendors to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Respond to problems and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all SLAs are met.
• Collaborate with Admin & Facilities Manager to manage employees and contractors.
• Coordinate with internal and external leaders to direct and monitor activities of service providers on site.
• Direct teams to ensure safe work practices and adherence to safety procedures.
• Qualify vendors and implement procurement policy including tendering with RFPs and cost tracking.
