Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Security Lead to join our team in Indonesia. You will be responsible for leading security operations, assessing risks, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to safeguard personnel, assets, and information.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, security policy implementation, and collaboration with local and regional management. Strong background in logistics security and incident management is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant security experience.
• Experience in Security, Risk Management, Loss Prevention, Corporate Security.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of risk management and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Customer and Internal Support: Assist in handling customer complaints related to security incidents; Support local Marketing & Sales on security-related matters; Provide guidance to regional, country, and local management regarding security issues; Prepare and provide security incident metrics and reports.
• Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other external stakeholders; Collaborate with internal teams, management, customers, and subcontractors on security initiatives.
• Security Operations & Risk Management: Implement and maintain security processes, policies, and procedures; Conduct risk classifications, risk assessments, and audits; Ensure incidents are reported, documented, investigated, and escalated; Conduct security awareness programs and training; Support subcontractor security standards; Assist with installation and upgrades of security equipment; Identify and recommend preventive actions.

Your Impact as Security Lead

As a key member of the Security team, you will:

Customer and Internal Support

• Assist in handling customer complaints related to security incidents.
• Support local Marketing & Sales (M&S) functions on security-related matters.
• Provide guidance and assistance to regional, country, and local management regarding security issues.
• Prepare and provide security incident metrics, reports, and situational updates to management as required.

Stakeholder Management

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with local law enforcement agencies and other relevant external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams, management, customers, and subcontractors on security-related initiatives.

Security Operations & Risk Management

• Implement and maintain documented security processes, policies, and procedures at location and/or country level.
• Conduct and support security risk classification, risk assessments, and security audits.
• Ensure security incidents are properly reported, documented, investigated, and escalated.
• Conduct or support security awareness programs and security training.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of security standards for subcontractors and new projects.
• Assist with the installation, procurement, and implementation of technical security equipment, including upgrades and requirements for new facilities/projects.
• Identify potential security risks and recommend appropriate preventive or corrective actions.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:

• Preferably minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the industry/division.
• Previous experience in Security, Risk Management, Loss Prevention, Corporate Security, or a related function.
• Experience working with operational environments such as logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of security principles, risk management, and incident management.
• Knowledge of security assessment and audit processes.
• Familiarity with physical and technical security systems.
• Strong understanding of the local security environment, risks, and operational requirements.
