Autobahn Security | Reduce Hackability in Jakarta is seeking a Security Engineer to help build the core of our SaaS vulnerability scanner. You will work hands-on with cloud infrastructure, develop testing playgrounds for exploits, and map real-world vulnerabilities to attacker techniques.

The role requires a genuine hacker mindset, solid cybersecurity experience, and comfort with Bash, Docker, and Python. A hybrid work arrangement and competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• You have a hacker mindset and curiosity for how things break.
• Solid cybersecurity experience with focus on vulnerability assessment and exploit thinking.
• Experience with automation and scripting in Bash, Python, or similar.
• Familiarity with Linux, networks, databases, and git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Professional English communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Build, improve, and maintain hacking tools that assess and strengthen client security.
• Create testing playgrounds for zero-day exploits and critical vulnerabilities.
• Investigate real-world vulnerabilities and map them to attacker techniques.
• Work hands-on with the infrastructure behind cloud services.
• Keep documentation clear and thorough.
