Description

We are actively hiring a Penetration Tester (Offensive Security) to join our cybersecurity team in Jakarta.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in cybersecurity who want to gain hands‑on experience in real‑world penetration testing across web applications, APIs, and internal systems.

You will work closely with experienced security professionals on real engagements — not just theoretical assessments — and grow your skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing on web applications, APIs, networks, and systems
• Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities
• Assist in developing attack scenarios and testing methodologies
• Analyze findings and provide clear remediation recommendations
• Prepare structured reports for internal teams and clients
• Stay updated on emerging threats and offensive techniques
• Collaborate with team members during security assessments
• Support security audits and risk assessments when needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience or strong hands‑on practice in penetration testing
• Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, or similar
• Understanding of web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
• Basic knowledge of networking and system fundamentals
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or JavaScript) are a plus
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and grow in offensive security

Nice to Have

• Experience in bug bounty or real‑world testing projects
• Exposure to internal/network penetration testing
