Jedi Solutions in Jakarta is seeking a Security Device Management Engineer to support the deployment, administration, and upkeep of security infrastructure and devices. You will monitor systems, perform troubleshooting, and ensure continuous availability and security of IT environments.

The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, networking, and security technologies and is eager to grow in security operations and infrastructure across teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 1–2 years in cybersecurity, network security, system administration, or infrastructure support.
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Switching).
• Familiarity with Firewalls, WAFs, Endpoint Security, VPN, or Email Security.
• Basic knowledge of security monitoring and incident handling.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of security devices and solutions.
• Monitor security systems and perform basic troubleshooting activities.
• Assist in managing security policies, rules, and configurations.
• Perform routine health checks, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Investigate and elevate security-related issues when required.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational records.
• Work closely with internal teams and vendors to support security operations.
