Job summary

PT. Global Infotech Solution in Jakarta Pusat is seeking a System Engineer Cybersecurity to join our on-site team. You will monitor security dashboards, analyze alerts, and perform incident response activities, collaborating with infrastructure and application teams.

The ideal candidate is a fresh graduate with basic networking, cybersecurity concepts, and SIEM familiarity. Shift work and on-call support may be required to ensure 24/7 security coverage.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; internship or up to 1 year of relevant experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, or log analysis tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar) through coursework, labs, or internships.
• Understanding of incident response processes and security monitoring concepts.
• Experience with personal labs, cybersecurity competitions, or relevant certifications is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in shifts or provide on-call support when required.

Responsibilities

• Work as an onsite Managed Service Engineer at designated location to support daily security related task.
• Monitor, assess, and analyze dashboards and alerts from assigned security tools.
• Investigate potential security incidents and perform incident response activities, including escalation to relevant support teams when necessary.
• Identify, investigate, and mitigate cyber threats.
• Conduct proactive, hypothesis-driven threat hunting and threat discovery activities.
• Improve cybersecurity systems by reducing false positives.
• Support the development and enhancement of SOC incident response capabilities.
• Execute both daily operational tasks and ad hoc (cyber) security-related activities.
