Job summary

Packet Systems Indonesia (PSI) is seeking a Tier 1 Analyst to join our security operations team in Jakarta. You will be on the front line, monitoring alerts across SIEM, EDR/XDR, and SOAR platforms, performing initial triage, and escalating incidents per defined playbooks.

You will document cases with evidence and timelines and support containment efforts. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced security environment within PSI's Jakarta

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• Experience with security monitoring tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR and other security platforms for alerts.
• Perform initial triage, classify severity, and identify false positives.
• Create and maintain incident cases with evidence and timelines.
• Escalate high-priority or suspicious incidents per procedures.
• Follow runbooks, assist containment, and provide status updates.
• Handover shifts and contribute to knowledge bases and runbooks.
• Report monitoring gaps and platform issues.
