Job summary

PT. Smart Cakrawala Aviation is seeking a Second-in-Command (SIC) pilot to join our Bell 412 helicopter operations team.

The SIC will support the Pilot-in-Command to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations, including missions in remote and challenging areas. Candidates should have a CPL(H) with IR(H), a Class 1 Medical, ICAO English Level 4, and at least 500 total helicopter hours; a Bell 412 Type Rating is preferred and prior Bell 412 experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid ICAO-compliant CPL(H)

• Must hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
• ICAO English Proficiency Level 4 or higher
• Minimum of 500 total helicopter flight hours
• Bell 412 Type Rating held or training possible

• Willing to be based in remote areas as required

Job description

We are seeking motivated and safety-oriented Second-in-Command (SIC) pilots to join our Bell 412 helicopter operations team. The successful candidates will support the Pilot-in-Command in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations, including missions conducted in remote and operationally challenging areas.

Candidates who demonstrate strong professionalism, sound judgment, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous development will be given priority consideration.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid ICAO-compliant Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter CPL(H).
• Hold a valid Instrument Rating – Helicopter IR(H).
• Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Hold an ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
• Minimum of 500 total helicopter flight hours.
• Hold a current Bell 412 Type Rating, preferably.
• Previous flight experience on the Bell 412 is preferred.
• Multi-engine helicopter experience is an advantage.
• Candidates without a Bell 412 Type Rating may still be considered and may be provided with type-rating training, subject to the company’s selection process and operational requirements.
• Possess strong Crew Resource Management (CRM), teamwork, and communication skills.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, discipline, and commitment to flight safety.
• No history of aviation accidents, serious incidents, or aviation licence suspension or revocation.
• Willing to be based and deployed in remote operational areas in accordance with the company’s operational requirements.
