Job summary

BINAR is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design and build test automation frameworks from the ground up, applying developer-level Java to create scalable, reusable test code. You will drive performance testing, API validation, and data integrity checks to ensure quality across the CI/CD pipeline.

Responsibilities include writing SQL for data validation, integrating tests into CI/CD, and applying white-box and black-box testing strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as an SDET, QA automation, or software engineer focused on quality.
• Strong Java programming with OOP and design patterns for scalable test code.
• Proven ability to design and build test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with performance & load testing using JMeter.
• Strong API testing skills (REST/SOAP) with tools such as REST Assured or Postman.
• SQL proficiency for data validation.

Responsibilities

• Design/build test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Write developer-level Java test code using OOP/design patterns.
• Conduct performance/load testing; analyze bottlenecks.
• Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) and validate responses.
• Write SQL queries to validate data integrity.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab).
• Understand/testing types: unit/integration/functional/regression/performance.
• Study data flow from docs to design accurate tests.
• Estimate load (RPS/TPS) and prepare pre‑reqs for tests.
