Job summary

Kredivo is seeking a Software Engineer in Test (Data) on our SEIT team to build automated tests across business logic, APIs, and data pipelines moving through BigQuery and Redshift. You will sit with Product and Engineering from the moment a feature is defined, catching what could break before it reaches production.

3-5+ years in software quality engineering, strong data warehousing knowledge, and proficiency in SQL plus a test-automation language are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in software quality engineering or SEIT.
• Strong data pipelines and warehousing knowledge (BigQuery/Redshift/PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one test-automation language (Python/Java/JS/TS).
• Experience building automated test frameworks across business logic, APIs, and end-to-end journeys.
• Familiarity with data validation techniques and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering on technical specifications with emphasis on testability.
• Decompose requirements to identify tests to automate across the full solution stack.
• Automate tests for business logic, APIs, and data pipelines across the stack.
• Analyze legacy code to advise on clean code and testing approaches.
• Monitor post-release metrics to identify defects and ensure quality.
