Job summary

The role requires collaboration with Product, Frontend, QA and stakeholders, writing clean, scalable code and participating in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives, using MySQL/PostgreSQL and Git in production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of backend development or software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, Node.js, Python, or PHP.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic design principles.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs to support business and product requirements
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following established development standards
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in development and production environments
• Work with databases to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance
• Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
