Job description

PwC Consulting Indonesia is seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Lead to join our SAP practice. The successful candidate will lead enterprise-scale data migration workstreams across SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, ensuring successful extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading of business-critical data from legacy systems into SAP solutions.

You will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, data owners, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver high-quality migration outcomes while maintaining data integrity and business continuity.

What Will You Do

• Lead end-to-end SAP data migration activities across SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, rollout, and transformation projects.
• Develop and manage Data Migration Strategy, Migration Plan, Cutover Plan, Mock Load Plan, and Data Load Schedule.
• Define migration scope, sequencing, governance, and success criteria.

Data Analysis & Transformation

• Facilitate data discovery, profiling, data quality assessments, and gap analysis.
• Define source-to-target mapping rules and business transformation requirements.
• Drive data cleansing, enrichment, standardization, and reconciliation activities.

Migration Execution

• Oversee extraction, transformation, and loading of master data and transactional data.
• Plan and execute multiple mock migration cycles and production cutover activities.
• Manage pre-load and post-load validation processes and reconciliation reporting.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of migrated data.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Lead cross-functional teams comprising business users, SAP functional consultants, technical consultants, ABAP developers, and data specialists.
• Collaborate with business process owners and Master Data Governance (MDG) teams to resolve data issues.
• Provide regular status reporting, risk management, and escalation support to project leadership.

Quality & Governance

• Establish migration governance, controls, templates, standards, and quality checkpoints.
• Identify migration risks and mitigation actions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-deployment stabilization activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of SAP consulting experience with at least 3 years leading SAP Data Migration workstreams.
• Hands-on experience with SAP migration tools such as: SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM), SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, SAP Data Intelligence (preferred), SAP MDG (preferred)
• Strong understanding of SAP master data and transactional data structures.
• Experience managing migration activities across multiple SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, EWM, WM, and HR.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience leading large-scale migration programs involving multiple countries, business units, or legal entities.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformations.
• Familiarity with data governance and master data management frameworks.
• SAP certification is an advantage.
