Job summary

Sampoerna Academy invites applications for an English teacher to join its Cambridge-aligned program in the Bogor area. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, foster critical thinking, and maintain a positive classroom that supports all learners.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, show fluent English with strong writing, and bring 5+ years of English teaching experience, preferably with Cambridge curriculum exposure. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English Language, Language Arts, Education, or related primary teaching field.
• Fluent English proficiency with clear spoken communication and strong writing skills.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching English, including First Language English, English Language Arts, or similar literacy-based curricula.
• Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum in a private or international school.
• ESL/EAL teaching experience is an advantage.
• Google Certified Educator Level 1 preferred or demonstrated experience using digital learning platforms such as Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft 365, Canvas, or similar.

• Develop students’ critical thinking skills through purposeful classroom activities.
