Job summary

Sampoerna Academy in Bogor invites applications for an Associate Teacher - Elementary for January 2027. You will assist in designing and facilitating learning activities, manage classrooms under the lead teacher, and support Indonesian language, Civics, and local subjects.

We seek a minimum bachelor's in Elementary Education (PGSD), at least 3 years in education, a compassionate and nurturing approach, and strong Bahasa and English communication. Cambridge experience is welcome. Full-time role.

Assist in designing and facilitating learning activities, classroom management, and student engagement for the core subjects under the guidance of the lead teacher.

Designing and facilitating learning activities, classroom management, and student engagement for local subjects (Indonesian language, BIPA, Civics) and possibly other subjects, as assigned, with guidance of the lead teacher as needed.

Support the lead teacher in providing pastoral care and fostering an environment that promotes students’ holistic growth.

Serve as a positive role model for students, upholding the school's mission and maintaining high standards of professional conduct and ethics.

Pursue professional development to improve teaching practices and personal growth, including workshops, seminars, and educational courses relevant to teaching young children.
