Job summary

Mercure Hotels is looking for a Sales Wedding & Social Event professional to drive bookings for weddings and social events at our Pontianak property. You will build strong relationships with guests, understand their needs, and present compelling proposals.

You will negotiate contracts, participate in trade shows, and maintain client accounts to ensure steady revenue growth for the property. A proactive, guest-focused mindset is essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Relevant sales experience is an asset.
• Ability to focus on guest needs while staying calm and courteous.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experience to guests who stay in your property. You are professional and knowledgeable about your property, and you build strong relationships and create bond with your guests.
