About the role We are recruiting a Sales Retail professional to join our sales team in Batam Kota, Riau Islands. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth through direct customer engagement at retail locations. As a Sales Retail specialist, you will be responsible for promoting our range of electrical appliances and cooling solutions to customers, achieving sales targets, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role is essential to our retail expansion strategy and provides an excellent opportunity to develop your sales career within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers at retail locations, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate products from our range of electrical appliances
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features, benefits, and specifications to potential customers in a clear and persuasive manner
• Process customer transactions, manage payments, and ensure accurate record-keeping of all sales
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Maintain detailed knowledge of current product lines, pricing, promotions, and special offers
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly and escalating where necessary
• Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing retail display area
• Collaborate with team members and management to support store operations and achieve collective sales goals
• Participate in product training sessions and stay updated on new product launches and features

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in retail sales or a customer-facing sales role, ideally in the electrical appliances or consumer goods sector
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers and build rapport
• Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
• Excellent product knowledge and ability to explain technical features in customer-friendly language
• Professional appearance and demeanour with a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple customer interactions
• Basic numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems and sales tools
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
• High level of motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is preferred
