Job summary

Ledvance Indonesia is seeking a Sales Project Specialist to drive growth in our lighting project business. You will identify opportunities, build strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders, and present lighting solutions to customers.

You will prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and project success, traveling as needed to support key accounts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in project sales or related role in lighting, electrical, construction, or building materials.
• Strong network with contractors, consultants, developers, and distributors is advantageous.
• Good understanding of project sales processes and tender procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willing to travel for business when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new lighting project opportunities in commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality, office, and government sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, owners, and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct product presentations and promote lighting solutions to customers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and follow up on project opportunities until successful closure.
• Monitor project progress from specification and tender stages through project completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in Project Sales, Sales Engineer, Business Development, or a similar role within the lighting, electrical, construction, or building materials industry.
• Strong network with contractors, consultants, developers, and distributors is an advantage.
• Good understanding of project sales processes and tender procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset and result-driven attitude.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Job Description

• Develop lighting simulations and lux calculations using DIALux / DIALux evo for various project types
• Prepare technical lighting design reports including luminaire schedules, lux calculation results, and energy efficiency summaries
• Recommend the most suitable LEDVANCE & Osram products based on technical specifications and project requirements
• Collaborate with the Project Sales team in client presentations, tender submissions, and specification meetings
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, M&E consultants, and developers to understand project requirements
• Support the preparation of BOQ and product substitution proposals for projects using competitor specifications
• Assist with lighting layout planning for modern trade partners — ensuring LEDVANCE & Osram products are displayed optimally at point of sale

Requirements

• 2 - 5 years of experience in lighting design, architectural lighting, or a relevant technical role
• Proficient in DIALux or DIALux evo independently
• Understanding photometric principles: lux levels, CRI, CCT, beam angles, and uniformity ratio
• Background in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• Able to read architectural and M&E drawings
