Job summary

Vetra Sistema Indonesia is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to promote premium resin-bound natural stone surfacing products and installation services in Jakarta. You will provide technical solutions, develop customer relationships, and manage the sales process from initial enquiry to project handover, including site visits and quotations.

The ideal candidate has a civil/architectural background, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related field.
• Experience in technical sales, project sales, or business development preferred.
• Experience in construction materials, flooring, coatings, landscaping, or architectural products is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially driven, proactive, and customer-focused.
• Willing to learn product specs and installation techniques.
• Able to travel for site visits and project requirements.
• Fluent in English is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of the products, specifications, and installation methods.
• Identify customer requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Present products to homeowners, architects, contractors, and developers.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and initial project assessments.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and product specifications.
• Follow up on leads and manage the sales pipeline.
• Negotiate commercial terms and targets.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and partners.
• Coordinate with technical and project teams for smooth execution.
• Prepare regular sales activity, pipeline, and market reports.
• Monitor market trends and opportunities.
