Job summary

PT. BERJAYA TEKNIK ABADI in Jakarta Barat is hiring a Sales Engineer for a full-time hybrid role. You will create and expand the customer base, maintain relationships, and drive sales quotas while delivering technical presentations and helping customers with installed equipment.

Travel to customer sites is expected, and staying updated on products is essential. The candidate should have a background in engineering or business, strong sales and technical skills, and be able to work independently

Job description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Engineer based in Jakarta Barat. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for day to day task such as :

• Create new customer or expand customer base
• Maintain relationship with existing customer
• Achieve and then exceed assigned sales quota or target
• Prepare and deliver technical presentation, explaining products and services to existing and prospective customer
• Plan, identify, modify and propose product to meet customer needs
• Help customer solve problem with installed equipment
• Stay updated to new products and market
• Customer visit : Office and Factory
• Implementing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.

Qualifications

• Sales Engineering and Sales skills
• Technical Support and Customer Service skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Experience in the industrial products such as industrial pumps, seals, valves, power transmissions, and solutions industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness and ability to travel out of town
• Ability to work in high stress environment and multitask
• Driving license : A or C
• Preferably have own vehicle

Industry : Mining, Refinery, Oil and Gas, Pulp and Paper, Marine, Power Plant, Chemical Plant, Cement Plant, Fertilizer, General Industry, etc.

Minimum 2 yeas experience in industrial company , B2B & B2C sales

Language : Indonesia, English and Mandarin (plus)
