As Regional Project Manager, you will lead cross‑functional teams, coordinate with contractors, government agencies, and internal departments, and report progress to senior management while maintaining budget and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience in telecommunications or FTTH deployments.
• Strong knowledge of FTTH infrastructure, network architecture, and fibre technology.
• Experience managing large-scale projects with multiple teams and contractors.
• Budget management and cost control experience.
• English and Indonesian proficiency for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

About the role

PT Sancome Nusantara Indonesia is seeking a RPM FTTH Project (Onsite Makassar) to join our telecommunications division. This is a full-time position based in Makassar, South Sulawesi, where you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing Fibre to the Home (FTTH) infrastructure projects. As RPM (Regional Project Manager), you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution, delivery, and quality of FTTH network deployment initiatives in the region. This position requires an on-site presence in Makassar and is integral to our expansion of high-speed fibre connectivity across South Sulawesi.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of FTTH project activities in accordance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards

Manage project teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, government agencies, and internal departments

Monitor project progress, identify risks and challenges, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery

Ensure compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for FTTH infrastructure deployment

Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety protocols

Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and performance metrics

Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and optimise resource allocation

Liaise with local authorities and communities to address concerns and facilitate smooth project implementation

Provide technical guidance and support to field teams and contractors

Report project status and performance to senior management on a regular basis

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of project management experience in telecommunications or FTTH network deployment projects

Strong knowledge of FTTH infrastructure, network architecture, and fibre optic technology

Proven experience in managing large-scale projects with multiple teams and contractors

Excellent leadership and team management capabilities

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations under pressure

Proficiency in project management tools and software

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both English and Indonesian

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field

Experience with budget management and cost control

Knowledge of local regulations and standards applicable to telecommunications infrastructure in Indonesia

Willingness to work on-site in Makassar with occasional travel to project sites

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred

Experience with civil works and infrastructure deployment is advantageous
