Job summary

National Oilwell Varco in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking an experienced plate rolling operator to set up and run rolling machines for fabrication of cylindrical, conical, and curved components.

You will read engineering drawings, monitor tolerances and material quality, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring adherence to HSE and quality standards. Collaboration with supervisors and teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating plate rolling machines, preferably in heavy plate fabrication.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, pressure vessel, or structural fabrication is advantageous.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and fabrication documents.
• Good knowledge of metal forming processes and material properties.
