Job summary

PT High Volt Technology in Jakarta is seeking a qualified Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of rigger experience, a medical clearance, and a basic high school diploma; fresh graduates are welcome.

You should hold or pursue OHS (K3), BNSP and/or NCCO certifications advantage, know ropes, slings and lifting gear, understand load capacity and center of gravity, read work instructions, and communicate well with the crew to ensure safe lifting operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Determine the best lifting method based on load type and site conditions, including calculating load capacity to ensure it does not exceed safety limits.
• Select lifting aids appropriate for the workload capacity in accordance with established safety standards.
• Secure loads, goods, or materials following established rigging procedures and calculation results.
• Re-inspect the rigging setup and lifting aids used to ensure compliance with established safety standards.
• Install and secure lifting equipment such as slings, wire ropes, and other auxiliary devices.
• Operate lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, and forklifts to lift, move, and position loads according to instructions.
• Maintain and care for lifting aids, including inspecting lifting and handling equipment prior to use.
• Comply with established Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and standards.
• Communicate with lifting equipment operators and other team members to ensure the load is lifted safely and correctly throughout the operation.
• Maintain logbooks and prepare daily reports regarding crane operation activities.
