Job summary

The French Crepe in Bali is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to take full responsibility for the maintenance and technical condition of our restaurant outlet in Canggu. You will ensure safety, functionality, and well‑maintained facilities, equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and civil works.

Key duties include day‑to‑day maintenance, proactive inspections, and timely repairs. You must be hands‑on, able to work independently, and coordinate with contractors when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer, Technician, Building Maintenance, or similar position.
• Experience in restaurant, hotel, café, villa, or commercial property maintenance is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, equipment, and basic civil work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on and able to work independently and coordinate with contractors.
• Basic English communication is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Fully handle day-to-day maintenance of the restaurant.
• Regularly inspect the venue and identify maintenance issues before they become major problems.
• Maintain walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, fixtures, and other building elements.
• Handle minor repair and civil works.
• Maintain and troubleshoot restaurant equipment and carry out regular preventive maintenance.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and identify the cause of technical problems.
• Check and maintain electrical systems, lighting, switches, sockets, and other electrical equipment.
• Handle basic plumbing repairs and maintenance, including water supply, drainage, sinks, toilets, and pumps.
• Create and follow a regular maintenance schedule and conduct routine inspections.
• Report maintenance issues immediately to management with photos and clear updates.
