Job summary

BINUS University is seeking a data-focused professional to develop data warehousing, perform data analysis, and build predictive models to support institutional planning.

The candidate should hold a bachelor degree, possess a related national certification, and have at least 2 years in a senior staff role or 4 years of experience, with project management and web-based programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data warehousing and further development of the information systems.
• Utilize departmental tools to query data stored in data warehouse or other corporate information systems.
• Identify data needed for strategic or accreditation purposes.
• Coordinate with other departments to collect and maintain required data.
• Maintain and update data daily or periodically to meet BINUS University needs.
• Monitor progress against institutional targets.
• Propose and refine effective data collection methods within BINUS University.
• Coordinate statistical analysis, interpretation and reporting for strategic planning and execution.
• Analyze and evaluate institutional data.
• Suggest strategies to improve organizational effectiveness from data analysis.
• Present data to other departments and BINUS University in various formats.
• Assist in action plan development related to university ranking improvements.
• Assist in annual reviews and planning workshops and prepare relevant reports.
• Support the data analytics and business process management team in strategic initiatives.
• Build predictive models based on institutional and external data.
• Manage model performance and reevaluate as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve decision support systems with statistical models and forecasting.

Data Collection and Monitoring:

• Develop and maintain data warehousing and further development of the information systems
• Utilize departmental tools and resources to query and retrieve data stored in data warehouse or other corporate information system and database
• Identify data needed for strategic and/or accreditation purposes, or other purposes
• Coordinate with other departments or units in collecting and maintaining the data needed
• Maintain and update the data daily or periodically to meet the need of BINUS University
• Monitor the overall progress result on Institutional target
• Propose and refine the effective data collection method within BINUS University

Data Analysis and Evaluation:

• Coordinate statistical analysis, interpretation and reporting procedures for strategic planning & execution, or other purposes
• Analyze and evaluate institutional data
• Suggest strategies to improve the effectiveness of the organization from analysis result and evaluation of institutional data
• Analyze and present the data in various formats for the use of other departments, and BINUS University
• Actively suggest and participate in action plan development related to improvement process of University ranking
• Participate in annual or periodic reviews and planning workshops and assist direct supervisor in preparing relevant reports
• Assist Data Analytics and Business Process Manager for the university's strategic planning and assessment initiatives

Prediction Models and Forecasting:

• Build predictive models based on institutional data and external data
• Manage and reevaluate the performance of predictive models based on real-world performances
• Actively finding new opportunities to improve decision support system based with statistical models and forecasting

Education Requirement:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree
• Related Certification (National)

Work Exposure/ Experience:

• Minimum 2 years in Senior Staff level position, or
• Minimum 4 years of working experience

Special Skill:

• Project Management
• Programming Language & Framework, especially web based
