Job summary

PT Goday Indonesia Food is seeking an R&D Supervisor fluent in Mandarin to lead daily R&D activities in food product development. You will develop and test products, evaluate trials, and prepare reports while coordinating with Production, QC, and QA teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

You will translate and communicate technical information between Mandarin-speaking leadership and the local team.

Qualifications

• Mandarin proficiency required (spoken and written).
• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in R&D, preferably FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of food product development, formulation, and safety standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Leadership and strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficient with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• On-site work at Purwakarta factory.

Research and Development (R&D) FMCG Company Supervisor - Mandarin Speaker

Supervise and coordinate daily Research & Development (R&D) activities, particularly in food product development.

Develop, test, and improve food products to meet quality standards, consumer preferences, and market demands.

Conduct product trials, evaluate results, and prepare reports on product development and improvement.

Coordinate with the Production, Quality Control (QC), and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure product consistency and quality.

Monitor raw materials, product formulations, and production processes to ensure compliance with company standards.

Communicate and coordinate with Mandarin-speaking management regarding R&D activities, product development, and technical matters.

Translate and communicate technical information, product specifications, and R&D reports between Mandarin-speaking management and the local team.

Ensure R&D activities comply with food safety standards, quality requirements, and applicable regulations.

Supervise the R&D team and ensure all projects are completed according to established timelines and targets.

Qualifications:

Must be proficient in Mandarin, both spoken and written.

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Previous experience in R&D, preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.

Good understanding of food product development, product formulation, and food safety standards.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and report preparation.

Willing to work on-site at the company's factory in Purwakarta.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
