Job summary

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client’s team on a full-time, remote basis. You will design, execute, and document test cases, identify defects, and verify fixes to ensure software reliability across platforms.

This role requires automating tests, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with developers and product teams to refine requirements. Proficiency with API and UI testing, experience with Jira or similar tools, and strong analytical skills

Qualifications

Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks and tools.
Proficiency in writing test cases and executing test plans.
Knowledge of bug tracking systems such as Jira or similar tools.
Familiarity with API and UI testing methodologies.
Strong analytical skills to diagnose software issues and verify fixes.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and document test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
Identify, report, and track software defects using tracking systems to ensure resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements.
Automate test cases to improve efficiency and coverage of regression testing.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability of software components.
