Job summary

Telkom is seeking a highly skilled Remote Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a fully remote team supporting operations nationwide in Indonesia. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable network infrastructure with robust security, performance, and reliability.

You will collaborate with distributed teams to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize capacity, and implement new network solutions while advancing documentation and best practices in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 6+ years in network engineering and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing (BGP/OSPF), and network security.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage core network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks and plan capacity.
• Ensure security and integrity with security protocols and IDS.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for network issues.
• Collaborate on infra projects and upgrades with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, configurations and procedures.
