Job summary

Pt. Ciputra Residence seeks a seasoned Lead Accountant to spearhead the accounting functions on a fully remote basis, supporting Balikpapan operations in East Kalimantan. The role requires leading the team, ensuring robust financial reporting, and collaborating with management in a remote-first environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in leadership, with strong PSAK and Indonesian tax knowledge. CPA preferred and ERP proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification highly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in leadership or supervisory capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of PSAK and Indonesian tax laws.
• Proven experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the accounting team in daily operations.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Oversee internal controls and accounting policies.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes in a remote setup.
