BJAK is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team building scalable products used by millions across the region. You will set technical direction, own architecture decisions and mentor engineers from frontend to backend.

The role requires deep software engineering experience, proven leadership, and the ability to ship reliable, production-ready systems in a fast-moving, distributed team. Remote global collaboration is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers across frontend, backend and full stack.
• Own engineering delivery for major product areas with reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend and AI teams to turn problems into execution.
• Drive technical architecture and decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure.
• Set engineering standards around code quality, system design, testing and production reliability.
• Stay close to technical work through architecture reviews and debugging.
• Develop engineers through feedback, coaching and clear expectations.
• Identify performance gaps and raise the team's bar.
• Improve engineering processes, tooling and automation.
• Own production outcomes post-release and resolve incidents.
• Build a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous improvement.
